In chapter 8 of our book Public Relations: Strategies and Tactics (9th Edition) evaluation was discussed:

Evaluation – the measurement of your results against your objectives.

Evaluations are important in PR so that you can judge how effective or non effective a certain campaign was.

There are three levels of measurement to show effectiveness:

  1. Basic
  2. Intermediate
  3. Advanced
